Ricky is less of a mad scientist and more of a quack, since there's no actual way to quantify "I got electrocuted by my jerry-rigged PC and dropped into a digital landscape in which a man's program designed to mimic human behavior as an attempt to replicate genuine consciousness chased me out to a lake which I then drowned in with the help of a ghost child and now that I'm awake I just know what I'm doing in regards to transferring souls into machinery."
That's just not gonna fly with any scientific board.
One of many original characters from the CC.exe AU, Ricky Kronbach is the protagonist whose story we follow through the endless variations of Five Nights at Freddy's continuities.
No version of Ricky is ever exactly the same, with each iteration carved out of the circumstances of the existing timeline:
- A car mechanic plagued by violent nightmares who is taken under Steve Raglan's wing.
- A night guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza who knows about the missing kids.
- A security supervisor at the Mega Pizzaplex following the pulse of an alleged cult.
But every branched timeline must have a point of origin, evidenced by the fact that, regardless of where he may be or even who he may be, Ricky Kronbach is always searching for something. Or, rather, someone.
